Alex: Andy was on the R&D end; I was on the corporate end. We saw both sides and the pain associated with planning business operations at scale across the entire organization. In any area of a business, they have to achieve a set of business goals—whether that’s being successful with the clinical trials, the research projects, filling jobs, or taking the product to market. And in order to achieve those goals, you have to do all sorts of work associated with projects, tasks, initiatives, timelines, etc. A lot of this was very manual…
Devon: The idea for landing came when my co-founder and I were grad students living abroad and experiencing the problem that Landng solves for. Us, both being that sort of Type A friend of the group, watching videos on Instagram, YouTube, reading blogs, asking friends—all to then create some sort of Google Doc or Excel when planning trips—is sort of a pain point for something that should be really inspiring and uplifting. Meg: I have been working in the B2B sales space for the last 10 years, creating personalized messaging for how companies go to market. Every single B2B salesperson has to speak differently to somebody that’s in the financial services industry versus the life sciences industry versus the manufacturing industry because all those different customers operate differently…
